We pulled into Tulsa, Oklahoma today on our Route 66 journey (Chicago to L.A. in 3 weeks) and were instantly wowed by all the retro neon.
Route 66 is all about great, nostalgic neon (and the open road!) and Tulsa calls itself the “Capital of Route 66.” I’ll explain the reasoning for this in an upcoming post, once the video series is edited and ready for public airing.
I waited for 7:30 p.m. for the skies to get dark, and ran over to 11st Street, where they are stacked together like museum masterpieces. These were all taken with an iPhone 16 Pro.
More to come! Thanks for coming along for the ride!
