New Video Alert: Texas Route 66
We're back on the Mother Road
Last year our Route 66 series came out, and I spread our eight state visit over 5 weeks, not wanting to bore people with eight separate videos.
Cut to 12 months later, and everyone is seemingly celebrating the 100th centennial of the Mother Road. That Texas portion of our journey that was tacked onto the end of the Oklahoma episode deserved its own spotlight, so why not now?
Especially when you consider that since an interview we did in Texas with Lianne from the U-Drop Inn in Shamrock, Texas was so beloved (by me) that I’ve re-used it now in 4 separate Route 66 videos.
So this week, our recut, full-length Texas episode is available for your viewing pleasure, and it comes just a few days after the United States Postal Service put the U-Drop Inn into the national news, by featuring it on a new collection of postage stamps.
Congrats to Lianne!
Editor’s Note: Wednesday is the day our behind the scenes stories about the making of these episodes are released for paid subscribers, with a shorter version available to everyone as an audio podcast. Questions about how the Texas 66 episode came about? I hope to answer them on Wednesday!

Another wonderful Photowalks!
