New Video Alert: the majestic Golden Gate Bridge
Loving her, photographing her, marveling at her
Quick: name the most beloved bridge in the USA. You either picked the Brooklyn Bridge (an amazing one) or the even more spectacular Golden Gate in San Francisco.
On the latest episode of Photowalks, I explore the inspiring history of the nearly 85-year-old bridge, show you the best places in San Francisco and Marin to photograph her, and introduce you to some interesting Bridge fans I met while making this episode. They include Jake Ricker, a local photographer who spent 6.5 years going to the bridge every day to photograph her and Aaron Singer, the Sausalito pilot who has been flying his seaplane over the Golden Gate for over 30 years.
Please sit back and enjoy this one—it’s one of my favorite episodes of Photowalks to date.
