I choose B. It is also why I’m reluctant to go for the 17…just because of this nightmare. I’ve read that the aluminum case easily scratches and that the glass is so-so compared to previous iPhones.
I’m going to vote “B”, Apple’s ceramic glass is not as tough as they say. By any chance do you pay your monthly mobile carrier bill with an American Express Platinum card? If yes, one of the benefits is that it includes insurance for your phone and this would be covered. Was the phone in a case? Sorry to hear this happened, but the good news is that you got the shot before the phone fell over.
Great post with lots of good info! Sorry about your bad luck.
Thank you Eric-these things happen.

T-Mobile switched to no credit card policy! I’m with you: it’s Apples fault
Glass is definitely so so. Will be interesting to see what happens when I replace it.
