Photowalks Expands Distribution
20 Full-Length Episodes Now Playing on Curiosity Stream, Complementing Existing Streaming Footprint on Scripps News
PhotowalksTV is expanding its footprint, and I’m thrilled to tell you all about it.
In addition to the weekly streams on Scripps News Sunday mornings and YouTube replays, Photowalks is now also being spotlighted on Curiosity Stream, which bills itself as the leading premium streaming service for documentary and factual entertainment.
This significantly broadens the reach of Photowalks TV, and the inclusion of 20 complete episodes on Curiosity Stream represents the series most comprehensive on-demand streaming catalog to date, allowing viewers to binge-watch journeys through regional American landscapes, historic highway tours, and international cultural capitals.
The first 20 episodes include stops in Los Angeles, New York, Savannah, Las Vegas, the Gold Country of California, the Big Island of Hawaii, Paris, Galveston, New Orleans, San Francisco, Monument Valley, Catalina Island, Santa Fe, Sicily, the Oregon Coast, Big Sur and Osaka Japan.
Founded by Discovery Channel creator John Hendricks, Curiosity Stream is known for its extensive library of factual programming focused on travel, history, science, technology, nature, and culture. In fact, Curiosity Stream looks like thew old Discovery, back when it was an educational channel.
I’m thrilled to be included on a roster of programs from the likes of David Attenborough and Neal DeGrasse Tyson and for Photowalks to reach even more viewers.
If you’re counting, you can always catch Photowalks on Scripps News, where it airs Sundays at 10 a.m. ET and 10 p.m. ET, replays on the YouTube Photowalks channel, and on Amazon Prime Video, Tubi, Fubo, the Roku Channel, DirecTV and Peacock (via the Scripps channel).
This link will show you many of the places to stream Photowalks.
Curiosity Stream charges $5.99 monthly to subscribe, or just under $3 monthly for an annual subscription.
Meanwhile, this week we’re in Alaska filming new episodes of Photowalks—Part 1 of the Juneau episode will launch on July 5th. And look who met on the road while filming the other night!
