PhotowalksTV is a travel series aimed at showcasing the most photogenic places on the planet, the best photo spots and how to capture great vacation photos with your phone.
The show airs on Scripps News four times a day on Sundays, with new episodes at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. ET.
PhotowalksTV was created by former USA TODAY columnist Jefferson Graham, who has over 100,000 followers on social media, with the aim of offering a different type of travel show for the digital generation by marrying eye-candy visits with mobile photography tips.
The show began on YouTube, where it has over 2 million total views.
In late 2024, Photowalks expanded to television with a short-run on streaming channel Scripps News as a weekly half-hour travel show. The series was so well-received, Scripps recently renewed Photowalks for a second season and a 30 episode order.
Scripps News is the most widely distributed free streaming news channel, available on every major streaming platform, including Apple TV, Roku and Amazon Fire TV, as well as on dedicated channels on Samsung, LG, TCL and Vizio TVs, and within hugely popular apps like Pluto, Tubi, Sling and Fubo. According to eMarketer, 57% of TV consumers watch ad-supported streaming channels monthly, to the tune of over 75 million viewers.
“Jeff is a dynamic, talented journalist who offers our viewers a chance to engage and escape,” said Matt Simon, vice president of Scripps News. “From his experience as a columnist for USA TODAY to his “Talking Tech” web series to the Photowalks companion newsletter, Jeff is a seasoned professional who elevates our programming.”
