The college town of Boulder is in the shadow of the big city of Denver, the 19th largest in the USA, but in a good way. A short 45 minute drive from the big city, and you enter a small town with big city features--like lots of things to do.
Boulder is one of the most photogenic cities in Colorado, and for today's post, here's looking at the four top photo spots in Denver.
Chautauqua Park: Home to multiple hikes to the majestic Flatiron mountains, the spread is also home to a historic dining hall and an entertainment facility. (See in the above video thumbnail.)
Boulder Creek: A river runs right through Boulder, across the street from the main library, suitable for swimming, tubing and kayaking during the warm months.
Pearl Street: The downtown collection of street performers, cafes and restaurants are situated on a street inhabited by great old buildings dating back to the late 1800s.
Flagstaff Summit: After Chautauqua, get in the car and drive up the hill to get a killer view of Boulder from hundreds of feet up in the air.
