You compelled me to steal some of the pics you posted for my own substack offering this morning, Jeff. You controlled my actions! Who knew you were a master of mind manipulation? And did you know that there's a way to satisfy the Leica itch without spending the big bucks? You just have to dab a dot of red paint on your iPhone and voila! It's now a Leicaphone! (It's all about the red dot - that's the secret).
Thank you for the info on the new Adobe app, I downloaded it and I am going to try it. One problem that seems to be getting worse is i take a photo on iPhone, it looks GREAT in iPhoto, but if I pull it into Lightroom it often looks very bland and unappealing. Sometimes it's just completely unusuable, like the photos I took of foggy sunrises that came into lightroom completely washed out. iPhoto doesn't make it easy (unless I'm missing it) to export and save your photos outside of iPhone. They also don't make it easy to add a watermark. Lightroom is my solution for those things. So. I'm hoping the Adobe app will solve that problem!
I tried the Fjorden grip and the app but it had two unappealing issues. First, the grip is so big the phone no longer fits in my pocket (and I am walking all the time so it needs to fit in my pocket). Second, I couldn't open it easily without unlocking in winter when I had on hats and masks and such. (Yes, I tried iPhone's "with a mask" setting but it doesn't work when that much of my face is covered.) The Adobe app will have problem #2 but not #1. Would be cool if I could also solve problem #2, but it's summer so it's not an issue at the moment.
