It's not every day that you get to talk about your parents in an interview, then illustrate it with gems from the family archive.
So thank you Michelle Maltais for asking all about the influence of the parents during our USA TODAY exit interview.
For those who don't know, Jerry was an early TV announcer and kiddie host who moved into radio, then back into TV. Judy was a traditional stay-at-home mom until the 1970s, when she started a successful knitting career, making costumers (sweaters) for TV shows from "Rhoda," to "Big Bang Theory."
